Who is Jake Halter?

Jacob Halter is a musician who operates in the Los Angeles, CA, and El Paso, TX areas. He is currently a student at the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California, studying Popular Music.

Music has been a driving passion for Jake since he first discovered its power at age seven. Starting with piano, he quickly developed an intense ambition for musical expression, which soon led him to explore instruments like violin, bass, and eventually guitar. Mastering the guitar sparked Jake’s deep dive into rock styles and ultimately jazz—a decision that transformed his musicianship profoundly. Today, he dedicates himself fully to his art, pouring meticulous care into every song and striving to unlock its greatest potential. Jake views music not only as creative expression but as a reflection of his inspirations and an essential part of who he is.

Jake's journey into music production began in eighth grade when he first discovered Logic Pro X. Captivated by the endless creative possibilities, he quickly immersed himself in producing, composing, mixing, and mastering. Over the years, Jake honed his technical skills, continually pushing himself to experiment and innovate. His experience across diverse genres enables him to approach each project with fresh perspectives, ensuring every piece of music he produces reaches its fullest potential.
